The Lagoon at Hilton Hawaiian Village<\/p><\/div>\n
Ilikai Hotel & Suites<\/strong>: \u00a0I like this hotel but if you’re bidding on a 2 star in the Waikiki Marina district, you might end up getting something other than this hotel. \u00a0It’s a risk I would avoid. \u00a0But the reason I like it is quite simply it’s location. \u00a0It is immediately adjacent to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and just a short walk to the beach.<\/p>\n
Waikiki Marina Hotel:<\/strong> \u00a0This 2-star hotel has some pros and cons. \u00a0The location is a bit far from Waikiki Beach but if you don’t mind a bit of a walk, this hotel can be a great bargain. \u00a0Rooms don’t have balconies either, but some great ocean views.<\/p>\n

Ala Wai and Central Honolulu<\/h2>\n
Some good deals on hotels can be\u00a0found on 2 and 3-star hotels\u00a0if you do not mind a short 10 to 15-minute walk to the beach.<\/p>\n
Ohana Waikiki East:<\/strong> \u00a0This is a good value, 3 star Priceline hotel. \u00a0Close to the beach (about a block away), this hotel throws in in a few nice extras that are sometime rare in Waikiki such as coffee makers with free coffee, high speed internet access in rooms, lobby, and by the pool, as well as free long distance phone calls (Canada and US only).<\/p>\n
Ohana Waikiki Malia:<\/strong> \u00a0This is a 2 1\/2 star hotel on Priceline. \u00a0This hotel is comprised of 2 buildings and rooms were renovated in 2009. \u00a0Only the main building was renovated and the other buildings are somewhat bland and dates. Biggest thing: \u00a0NO SWIMMING POOL. \u00a0For this reason, I recommend avoiding this (or any 2 1\/2 star hotels in the Waikiki City Centra bidding zone).<\/p>\n
Central Waikiki Beach, Beach Walk, Kuhio Beach and the Heart of Waikiki Beach<\/h2>\n
All of these bidding zones are a great choice\u00a0for Priceline Bidding.\u00a0 While not all hotels are immediately on the beach (some are across the street or a block away), this is the best part of Waikiki.<\/p>\n
Marriott Waikiki Beach:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0I spent a lot of time at this resort because of the warm pool, great view, and even better happy hour. \u00a0On Priceline, it’s appropriately listed as a 4-star hotel and is situated \u00a0in the Waikiki Beach bidding zone. \u00a0While not directly on the beach, the hotel is immediately across the street from the beach. \u00a0Here’s a tip: \u00a0don’t pay $30 per night to park at this hotel. \u00a0Park for $10 across the street at the Waikiki Banyan.<\/p>\n

Moana Surfrider in Waikiki<\/p><\/div>\n
Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort: \u00a0<\/strong>Another superb hotel listed as 4 stars on Priceline. \u00a0This hotel is right on the beach and in the middle of the action of Waikiki. \u00a0If you like to be at the center of it all, this hotel is for you. \u00a0Great location, great pool, great beach, great beach bar! \u00a0But this is an extremely busy hotel day and night.<\/p>\n
Sheraton Royal Hawaiian Waikiki (also known as the Pink Palace)<\/strong>: \u00a0One of a few ‘resort’ hotels on Waikiki Beach, this hotel is in the perfect location that is on the main strip (Kalakaua Ave) yet manages to insulate itself. \u00a0The grounds are beautiful as are the pools. \u00a0Resort fee is $20 per day, but overall, this hotel is strongly recommended. \u00a0The views of the beach and Diamond Head are breathtaking.<\/p>\n
Ko Olina Bidding Zone<\/h2>\n
Somewhat remote, not a lot to do outside of the few resorts that are in this area.<\/p>\n
\u00a0JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Situated in the Ko Olina Priceline bidding zone on the south-west corner of Oahu, this resort is simply awesome. \u00a0If you see a Resort available on Priceline in this zone, it’s most likely this hotel. \u00a0The area is about 20 minutes from the airport, and if you don’t mind being away from Waikiki, I would strongly encourage you to bid on this hotel. \u00a0Check out the man-made ponds while you’re here. \u00a0Great snorkeling.<\/p>\n
North Shore Bidding Zone<\/h2>\n
Extremely remote part of the Island. \u00a0Stay here if you truly want to get away from it all… and if you have a rental car.<\/p>\n
Turtle Bay Resort:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0If you’re looking for a “resort” hotel on Priceline on the island of Oahu and don’t mind being outside of Waikiki Beach, this hotel is a top contender. \u00a0For better bidding on resort hotels, consider bidding in the North Shore. \u00a0It’s a bit further away from the airport and quite remote (which means you’ll likely need a rental car). \u00a0This hotel has several miles of beach access and the vast majority of the rooms have ocean views, many have been upgraded. \u00a0Nightlife here is non-existent.<\/p>\n
