Priceline Bidding Zones in Union Square<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2 “Union Square” bidding zones on Priceline are: \u00a0Union Square East<\/strong> and Union Square West – Nob Hill<\/strong>. \u00a0If you’re looking for a hotel in the area, I would also consider bidding in the SOMA – Moscone Center<\/strong> zone as well. \u00a0It’s a bit further away but if you don’t mind a 5 minute walk to Union Square, you can find a really good deal.<\/p>\n

Union Square East: \u00a0<\/strong>This is the preferred bidding zone if you’re wanting to stay as close as possible to Union Square. \u00a0Accessible from the San Francisco Airport via the BART (Powell Street Station), this area is really easy to get to by public transit. \u00a0On the negative side, some of the hotels are located right on Powell Street, the main cable car line which can be noisy if you’re looking to sleep in. \u00a0Hotels in this bidding zone that are known to be on Priceline, as reported by members of the Priceline Forum, include:<\/p>\n

Union Square West – Nob Hill:<\/strong> \u00a0This bidding zone on Priceline is quite large, extending from Market Street all the way to California Street, about 3\/4 of a mile away. \u00a0It also borders on the less desired area of San Francisco – the Tenderloin District. \u00a0Having said that, if you don’t mind ending up as far north as California Street and being adjacent to a somewhat rougher neighborhood, this area has the best deals and greatest selection of hotels. \u00a0Here are the hotels known to be on Priceline in this zone:<\/p>\n

SOMA – Moscone Center: \u00a0<\/strong>Technically not part of Union Square in San Francisco, this bidding zone deserves a mention. \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because it is just a block or 2 away (depending on which hotel), but also because there are some great high end hotels that are sometimes too good a deal to resist. \u00a0In other words, the distance away from Union Square may be worth the savings. \u00a0Here are some of the hotels available on Priceline in this bidding zone.<\/p>\n
