Lowest price found for 4* was 239$
Via PRICELINE I bid 1 night last minute winning a price of 167$ for Makena Beach Resort.. ( 199$ incl tax fees)via Priceline. 4* or better
I started with 4*Wailea zone for $150, then increased to 159 (after ignoring request to increase bid to 180 )
adding Kahalui zone to no avail and, then finally Iadded Kehei zone increasing price to 167$ ... thus a confirmation!!

I have been trying to bid through priceline for a 4* lahaina stay for 4/5-10 and bid from 160 up to 210 and been rejected every time. they have an express deals on hotwire and priceline for 223 and 224, 4 star 85% recommended. it seems that others have bid slightly below the express price and at least gotten a counter offer. is 220 the best im going to get? also are both of these likely to be westin? thanks, will use above links to book
